How to move a Spotify playlist into rekordbox
- In Spotify, open the playlist, tap Share and copy the link.
- Send it to @djcrate_bot.
- Pick FLAC or MP3 320, get the zip.
- Unzip and drag the folder into rekordbox. Titles, artists and artwork are already in the tags.
What's in the folder
- One format for the whole set: FLAC or MP3 320. About two thirds of tracks turn up in FLAC; the rest land in the same folder as MP3 320, in playlist order.
- Proper titles, tags and artwork. No track_01 on your USB.
- Fakes flagged: FLAC transcoded from MP3, and "320" blown up from 128.
- Loudness evened out across the set without compression, so you barely touch the gain.
